I was once a cart pusher-Fuji star, Sulaiman Adio Atawewe

' I was once a cart pusher in Ikorodu, I was one of those who eke living from pushing a wheelbarrow around Ikorodu and its environs. I took the wheelbarrow on instalment from the owner, I paid from the proceeds I  got from it every day'. These are the words of a famous music act, Alhaji Sulaiman Adio Atawewe is popularly known as Etu Fuji while chatting with us recently.

The Egba born fuji Act who has fifteen albums to his credit disclosed to us that he was born with no silver spoon in his mouth. 

 

'Yes, my parents were poor, I was living in a plank room with my daddy at Idi-Oro in Mushin, at age 10, I moved to my mummy's place in Ikorodu, and the same situation was the same. She was living in a single room then, It was at that moment that I made up my mind to fend for myself. That was the reason why I picked up pushing wheelbarrow as a way to earn a living for myself and support my parents. I thank God today that all has become history." The successful fuji Act concluded.
